Ahem, my apologies for the rant. I am just very frustrated with my scanner because it can only take a certain size of paper. >> Unfortunately I have run out of that size.

Anyway, onto the explanation. This is my contest entry for :iconqueenofbandits240: She was holding a uniform design contest, so I thought it might be fun to enter. Hope you like it, and please excuse my crappy handwriting. ^^; <3

Rikku's notes: the lining on the jacket (and everything else of that color) is actually supposed to be gold...it just LOOKS silver because of the way my scanner did things. >>

You're welcome. You entered my contests, so I was more than happy to enter yours. :) Plus it sounded fun to design a uniform for a guy. XD Since the name was Ryuujin Academy, I tried to pick colors that were somewhat dragonlike (dark green and dark red).

Please forgive, but this is in all honesty: like a few other artists I know of, you need to work on your anatomy, and you may want to experiment on poses. The articles of clothing themselves are a bit unremarkable, unless you are going for the traditional style of uniform then be my guest. All in all, you're good, but there is plenty of room for improvement for you; you may probably stand a chance in this contest.

Yeah, I'm working on anatomy. I just need some more practice. As far as poses go, I've been experimenting with different ones (sometimes using reference pictures) and I was aiming for something rather simplistic on this as the purpose was to show what the uniform design looked like.

Yes, I was aiming for more of a traditional suit and tie type of uniform this time around. I may see what I can come up with later though.

Thanks for the support. I honestly don't care if I win. I made it for her because she is my friend, and because she entered my contests so I wanted to return the favor.
